Pray for leaders and citizens alike in China and neighboring nations to turn away from military posturing and towards mutual understanding, that they may beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruninghooks, and nation shall not lift up sword against nation (Isaiah 2:4).
Pray for the Lord’s justice and compassion to prevail amidst the political purges, protecting the innocent and loosening all who are unjustly held captive by fear or earthly power, for He executes judgment for the oppressed and loosens the prisoners (Psalm 146:7).
Pray for the people of China to find their true hope and peace in the unfailing love of God, trusting in the Lord amidst all uncertainties, so they may be like a tree planted by the waters, spreading out its roots by the river, that shall not see when heat comes (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

Be grateful for the diligent work and ingenuity of the Chinese people, evidenced by their significant economic growth and technological advancements, which reflect the Lord establishing the work of their hands (Psalm 90:17).
Be grateful for China's diplomatic efforts in seeking peaceful relations and fostering unity among nations, as seen in their engagement with Germany and initiatives in the Middle East, demonstrating how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1).
Be grateful for the manifold blessings and opportunities present in China, from expanding trade deals to cultural vibrancy, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17).
