Pray for the Lord, who makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth, to intervene in the escalating tensions concerning Iran, breaking the instruments of conflict and establishing lasting peace in the region (Psalm 46:9).
Pray for all those in authority in Iran and surrounding nations, that they may be guided by God's divine wisdom to make decisions leading to a quiet and peaceable life for all, in godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
Pray for the precious people of Iran, many of whom may be living with broken hearts and contrite spirits due to the looming threats of conflict, that the Lord would draw nigh to them, bringing His comfort, healing, and salvation (Psalm 34:18).
Be grateful for the active diplomatic engagements that seek to foster peace and understanding, demonstrating God's good intentions for all nations to experience an expected end of peace and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11).
Be grateful for the tireless efforts of mediators and leaders striving to bring parties together in dialogue, reflecting the goodness and pleasantness desired when people endeavor to live in unity (Psalm 133:1).
Be grateful for the ongoing diplomatic initiatives in Iran, recognizing that the entire world and all its inhabitants belong to the Lord, and He remains sovereign over all efforts to de-escalate tensions (Psalm 24:1).
