Pray for God’s mighty hand to turn away the rising threat of war and conflict from Sweden, so that He may make wars to cease unto the end of the earth and break the instruments of battle, establishing lasting peace and security for its people (Psalm 46:9).
Pray for divine wisdom and clear understanding for all leaders and those in authority in Sweden, especially as they navigate government formation and complex international relations, so that their decisions may lead to a quiet and peaceable life for all in godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
Pray for justice to prevail throughout Swedish society, particularly for the protection of all vulnerable groups and those experiencing injustice or discrimination, that the Lord may defend the poor and fatherless, doing justice to the afflicted and needy, and delivering them (Psalm 82:3-4).

Be grateful for the extraordinary human talent and perseverance displayed by Andreas Almgren of Sweden, whose victory in the New York City Marathon is a testament to God's gift of strength and endurance (Isaiah 40:31).
Be grateful for Sweden's ongoing contributions to uncovering and preserving rich historical treasures, like the ancient Roman coin and medieval warship, demonstrating God's establishment of the work of our hands to reveal His wonders (Psalm 90:17).
Be grateful for the spirit of unity and cooperation exemplified by Sweden's role in celebrating 100 years of ecumenism, showcasing the beauty and pleasantness when brethren dwell together in peace (Psalm 133:1).
