Pray for the hearts of all leaders and peoples in Cyprus and the wider region to be turned from military posturing and towards true peace, that swords may be beaten into plowshares, fostering unity instead of division (Isaiah 2:4).
Pray for the Lord to bring profound healing and restoration to the divided island of Cyprus, mending the deep wounds of separation and resentment between communities, for He promises, 'I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds' (Jeremiah 30:17).
Pray for divine wisdom and righteous hearts for all leaders and those in authority across Cyprus, North and South, that through their governance, justice and peace may prevail, enabling all people to lead a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
Be grateful for the economic growth and successful development projects across Cyprus, demonstrating how the Lord establishes the work of their hands for flourishing. (Psalm 90:17)
Be grateful for the restoration of precious Byzantine icons and the transformation of old spaces into new centers of excellence, showcasing God's thoughts of peace and a hopeful future for Cyprus. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Be grateful for the abundance of good gifts poured out upon Cyprus, including groundbreaking archaeological discoveries and vibrant cultural developments, as every perfect gift comes from above. (James 1:17)
