Pray for the Lord to intervene and bring an end to the brutal conflicts and violence plaguing DR Congo, making wars to cease and breaking the weapons of division, so that peace may reign among its people (Psalm 46:9).
Pray for the Lord, in His mercy, to restore health to the many suffering from Ebola and other diseases, healing their wounds and bringing an end to this devastating outbreak, as He promises to heal His people (Jeremiah 30:17).
Pray that the LORD, who executes judgment for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry, would bring justice to the marginalized and provide sustenance for the millions facing deepening hunger in DR Congo, freeing them from the grip of despair (Psalm 146:7).
Be grateful for the abundant natural resources with which the Lord has blessed the DR Congo, as the earth is His and all its fullness (Psalm 24:1).
Be grateful for the renewed strength and resilience shown by the people of DR Congo in confronting and overcoming health challenges like Ebola, as they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
Be grateful for the Lord's blessing on the diligent work and efforts of the people of DR Congo, evidenced in their achievements in sports and acts of Christian service, as God establishes the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17).
