Pray for the leaders of Eritrea and Ethiopia to be granted the Lord's wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, guiding their decisions towards diplomatic solutions and away from the brink of war (Proverbs 2:6).
Pray that the Almighty God would intervene mightily to cease the escalating tensions between Eritrea and Ethiopia, breaking the instruments of war and preventing further bloodshed in the region (Psalm 46:9).
Pray for the Eritrean people, especially those displaced as refugees in Tigray, that the Lord who provides food to the hungry and justice for the oppressed would sustain them and deliver them from hardship and uncertainty (Psalm 146:7).
Be grateful for the growing spirit of unity and cooperation emerging in Eritrea's international relations, reflecting how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1).
Be grateful for God's sovereign placement of Eritrea with its unique and irreplaceable strategic location, recognizing that the earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof (Psalm 24:1).
Be grateful for the promise of peace and a hopeful future for the people of Eritrea, knowing that the LORD has thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give them an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
