Pray for the Lord to make wars to cease in South Sudan, breaking the weapons of conflict and ending the horrific cattle raids that claim so many lives, establishing lasting peace for its people (Psalm 46:9).
Pray that the Lord, who executes judgment for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry, would deliver the people of South Sudan from their profound humanitarian crisis, bringing forth justice and provision for all who suffer from displacement and famine (Psalm 146:7).
Pray that the Lord would restore health to South Sudan and heal its deep wounds inflicted by years of conflict and instability, bringing forth a season of true national restoration and well-being for all its citizens (Jeremiah 30:17).
Be grateful for the generous global efforts to provide life-sustaining resources, such as clean water, demonstrating a collective commitment to bearing one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).
Be grateful for the widespread initiatives and successes in public health, like nationwide vaccination campaigns, which are perfect gifts from God for the well-being of the people (James 1:17).
Be grateful for the active pursuit of peace and development by civil society and the church within South Sudan, as they strive towards the good and hopeful future God intends for His people (Jeremiah 29:11).
