Pray for the leaders of Sri Lanka to be moved by divine wisdom and compassion, that they may defend the poor, do justice to the afflicted and needy, and deliver them from the potential harms of unchecked power and unjust legislation (Psalm 82:3-4).
Pray for deep and lasting reconciliation across Sri Lanka, particularly for war widows and displaced farmers, that the nation may truly beat its swords into plowshares and find healing, transforming past conflicts into a future of shared prosperity and peace (Isaiah 2:4).
Pray that the people of Sri Lanka will place their trust in the Lord amidst their current trials, enabling their nation to be firmly planted by living waters, thriving with resilience and stability, and experiencing genuine flourishing that endures through every challenge (Jeremiah 17:7-8).
Be grateful for the flourishing of Sri Lankan dance and the enduring spiritual marvels like Dambulla's cave temples, reflecting the beauty of the Lord upon the nation and establishing the work of their hands (Psalm 90:17).
Be grateful for the launch of AgriConnect and efforts in sustainable tourism, reflecting God's thoughts of peace and an expected good future for Sri Lanka, bringing forth job creation and prosperity (Jeremiah 29:11).
Be grateful for the remarkable triumphs in sports, where Sri Lanka's teams demonstrate renewed strength and ability, mounting up with wings as eagles as they overcome challenges (Isaiah 40:31).
